I use the cup and the lid often when heating or melting something in the microwave. It does what I need it to do, and cleanup is as easy. Just pop it into the dishwasher. I liked this so well, I also bought the set with the 2 & 4 cup size with the lids. I use them all frequently.
Occasionally, if I need a better seal than the lids provide, I will use plastic wrap instead of the lid.
