I actually purchased the Pyrex Accents Teardrop mixing bowl from another store and am very happy with it.
There are two silicon rims. The one at the bottom makes the bowl non-slip, and the one at the top makes handling this bowl with wet hands a much safer job. The teardrop shape makes pouring easier and cleaner. Its weight in glass plus the non-slip bottom prevents tilting which is really helpful when mixing a large batter.
I've used this bowl for large job, small batter, hot, cold, and heating in the microwave with no problem. I am able to nest my smaller mixing bowls inside this when storing despite its teardrop shape. However, this bowl tends to stay on the counter multitasking almost daily. It is a fairly large bowl so expect it to take up some counter space.
The bowl is 13.5 inch at its widest (to the tip of the teardrop at the top). It only fits my microwave at an angle so I need to remove the turner when using this in the microwave. But it's a small inconvenience given how easy it is to pour liquid from its spout.
The bottom of the bowl scripting indicates this bowl is Made in USA, Microwave Safe, and NOT for Stove Top.
